'Find this white man ... ': Canadian journalist receives death threat from Indian-origin for Sikh man's kirpan gym dispute video

A Canadian independent journalist, Max Genest, has received a death threat after posting a video about Gurpartap Singh Khalsa, a Sikh content creator who was asked to leave a gym in Windsor, Ontario, for carrying a kirpan, a ceremonial blade worn as part of the Sikh faith.

A user identified as @prabh.xx07 commented beneath the video, writing, "find this white man in Winnipeg and show him some love", alongside a knife emoji and a heart emoji.

Sharing a screenshot on X (formerly Twitter), Genest wrote: "An Indian squatting in Canada just threatened to stab me and named my city."
