Tottenham supporters have expressed their delight at the news that Harry Winks will start for England this evening.
The midfielder has been a key player for Spurs so far this term after establishing himself as one of the team's most consistent performers.
This wasn't enough for Gareth Southgate, though, who left Winks on the bench for last week's European 2020 qualifying clash with Czech Republic.
That game ended in defeat for the Three Lions, with Southgate opting to make some changes for the clash with Bulgaria.
The England boss was urged to give Winks an opportunity by former Spurs and Newcastle man Chris Waddle, who said that the midfielder was deserving of an opportunity.
He said: "It will be worth having a look at Harry Winks on Monday night [against Bulgaria].
"He will have the ball in all areas from the back which is good and is always available.
“Has he got the confidence? Not having a great time at Spurs, another player going on the park where his club form has dipped.”
This was something that supporters agreed with as they took to social media to hail the decision to start Harry Winks.
Here's what they had to say.
