- Rapper Bad Bunny and actor Alan Cumming have joined the star-studded cast of Toy Story 5 , as Disney unveiled the highly anticipated trailer for the latest instalment of the beloved animated franchise.
- Bad Bunny will lend his voice to a character named “Pizza With Sunglasses”, while Alan Cumming is slated to portray the evil alter ego of the horse Bullseye.
- The film sees the return of Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, and Joan Cusack as Jessie, as they band together to rescue their owner, Bonnie, from the clutches of her new Lilypad smart tablet.
- The trailer depicts the Lilypad tablet, voiced by Greta Lee, throwing toys out of Bonnie’s room and isolating her, prompting Buzz to lead an army of toys and Woody to make a dramatic return to confront the device.
- Toy Story 5 is scheduled for release in UK cinemas on 19 June, with Randy Newman’s classic theme song, "You’ve Got A Friend In Me", underscoring the trailer.
