Final Browns Week 5 injury report: 6 players questionable for Monday night

The vague semantics of the NFL injury report lend more optimism to the Cleveland Browns than the reality is likely to be in San Francisco.

The Browns have six players officially listed as questionable for Monday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. However, not all questionable players are of the same level of likelihood.

Two of the players, Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams, did not participate in a single practice session all week. Both have missed two games in a row with matching hamstring injuries. The NFL no longer uses the “doubtful” designation, but that’s the more apt term for the regular starting CBs.

The other Browns listed as questionable for Week 5:

  • Safety Morgan Burnett
  • Wide receiver Rashard Higgins
  • Right tackle Chris Hubbard
  • Safety Sheldrick Redwine

Burnett was a full participating in the final practice, as was Hubbard. Even though they are listed as questionable, it seems likely both regular starters will play on Monday night.

The only player officially ruled out is reserve offensive tackle Kendall Lamm. He will miss his fourth straight game with a knee injury suffered in Week 1.
