A female pedestrian was hospitalised after being struck by a concrete block due to a car crash.
Gardai are investigating the incident which occurred last night in Dublin city.
A car is understood to have collided with a wall on Dame Lane.
The female was struck by dislodged concrete from the collision and taken to St James Hospital to be treated for her injuries.
The female driver in her 20s was arrested as a result.
Witnesses told Dublin Live that there was a large garda presence on Dame Lane. The incident occurred around Thunder and the Hard Rock Cafe area.
A gardai spokesman told Dublin Live: “Gardai attended a single vehicle traffic collision that occurred at a Car Park in the Dublin 2 area shortly before 11:20pm last night, Friday 3 September 2021.
“A car is understood to have collided with a wall.
“A female pedestrian on Dame Lane was struck by falling debris from the collision. She was taken to St James Hospital to be treated for her injuries.
“A female in her 20s was arrested as a result. Investigations are ongoing.”
