A 24-year-old female was arrested on Wednesday night in Abergavenny for a number of drug supplying offences.
Police officers found illegal drugs after searching a premises in the Rother Avenue area of the town.
The investigation is ongoing and officers from Gwent Police's Monmouthshire force have also asked members of the public to report any cases of illegal drug supplying in their neighbourhoods.
An 11.11pm post on the official Gwent Police Monmouthshire Officers Twitter account @GPMonmouthshire detailed the arrest.
It read: "A 24-year old female was arrested today in #Abergavenny for a number of drug supply offences. A search of a premises in the Rother Avenue area resulted in illegal drugs being located. Investigation ongoing. Please report any illegal drug supply in your area #PC1926 #PC1903."
Members of the public are reminded not to use police Twitter accounts to report crime but, instead, to call 101 or, in an emergency, ring 999.
