Feeling Mondayish? Time for some poetry ...

It's Monday, you're back at your desk, five full days stand between you and next Saturday, and it's too early to think about lunch. Rather than seeking stimulation in a third cup of coffee (it'll only make you jittery), might I recommend that you ease yourself into the working week with a dose of Auden instead?

Next month, Josephine Harte is releasing Catching Life by the Throat: How to Read Poetry and Why - an anthology of poems by Auden, Eliot, Larkin, Dickinson and others, accompanied by a CD featuring a selection of the poems read by a cast of actors, ranging from Roger Moore and Harold Pinter, to Bob Geldof and Juliet Stevenson. Josephine will be blogging more about it tomorrow, but for now, sit back, relax and listen to Ralph Fiennes reading 'As I Walked Out One Evening'. Who needs coffee?
