If you pass a street near you and it has a slightly rude name, the likelihood is that you'll chuckle to yourself, maybe text a few pals about it, and then you'll get on with your day.
But residents of a Leeds street with one of the rudest street names have said 'it's not funny'.
They're fed up of their street name being mocked and have slammed those who continually compare it to a rear-end, wanting to highlight that, actually, the street name has historical connotations.
Leeds Live reported that Butts Mount is a small unassuming street with 19 homes, tucked away in LS12, in between Mickley Street and Armley Grove.

There are several streets in Leeds called Butts - Butts Terrace in Guiseley, Butts Lane in Lumby, Butts Garth View in Thorner, and Butts Court in Leeds city centre.
The street name Butts has historical connotations. The name dates back to the 14th Century for places where men would practice archery as these were located on the outskirts of either villages or common land – to avoid any nasty accidents.
Fum Sampson, 30, has lived in Butts Mount for seven years and doesn't find the name funny. He's a warehouse worker, originally from Nigeria, and he lives in the small street with his wife and three children.

He said: "It's a good place to live. More old people live in this area, no one too young, it's quiet. When I say I live in Butts Mount. They just say 'Butts Mount?!' And I say 'yes'. It doesn’t make me laugh, I don't find it funny. For me, it's normal."
Harjinder Singh, 53, lives nearby and regularly walks through the small street, and he agrees with Fum saying he doesn't find the name very funny.
Mother and daughter Robina Bi, 42, and Faizah Zu, 19, have lived on the corner of Butts Mount and Armley Grove for 16 years, and Faizah admitted that her friends laughed when they were looking at their houses on Google Earth - she said it was 'quite embarrassing'.
