Fears Simon Cowell could be 'seriously injured' in dangerous Britain's Got Talent act

Britain's Got Talent star Andrei Gomonov wows the judges on Saturday with a ridiculously dangerous knife throwing act.

Simon Cowell , 59, replaces his glamorous assistant on stage, standing against a board as Andrei hurls knives in his direction.

However, the performer has since admitted that the act could have gone horribly wrong if Simon had moved just an inch out of place.

Speaking about his fears, Andrei said: "This was high stakes. It was more dangerous because I didn’t know what Simon would do.

"I know my partner. She knows not to be scared and not to move.

"But I didn’t know if Simon might move. I worried I might leave him seriously injured."

In scenes to air tonight, the knife thrower thankfully manages to get through his audition without hurting the music mogul, and receives a huge round of applause.

Explaining why he took part in the stunt, Simon said: “I wanted to feel what it’s like. It is terrifying.”

Meanwhile, comedian David Walliams couldn't help making a gag at Simon's expense.

“You could’ve killed him when you had the chance," he teased.

This isn't the only risky act of the show so far, as last week, Jonathan Goodwin wiggled himself out of a straitjacket while set on fire.

He told Simon that the trick was 10 out of 10 on the danger scale, and the judges were on the edge of their seats as he thankfully managed to pull off the trick in the nick of time.
