Fears for missing man, 86, last seen in town centre

Update from Merseyside police: "Mr Lee has been found safe. Thank you for sharing our appeal."

Police are searching for a missing man who was last seen in Birkenhead.

Christopher Lee, who is known to visit pubs in the Birkenhead and Moreton areas, was last spotted in the town centre at around 3.30pm on Thursday, November 18.

The 86-year-old, who suffers with dementia, walks with a frame and ankle foot orthotics.

When he was last seen he was wearing grey trousers, a black coat, navy blue blazer, grey jumper and white shirt with a black tie.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "Please share and help us find missing 86-year-old Christopher Lee.

"Mr Lee was last seen in Birkenhead town centre at around 3.30pm on Thursday 18 November and extensive enquiries are ongoing to find him.

"He is white, 6ft 4in tall, of slim build, with short white hair. He wears glasses and a hearing aid, and walks with a frame and ankle foot orthotics (known as callipers).

"When last seen, Mr Lee was wearing grey trousers, a black coat just above the knees, a navy blue blazer, grey jumper, and a white shirt with a black tie.

"He is known to frequent public houses in and around the Birkenhead and Moreton area.
