A small bug cost the player a goal. While that seems like nothing, it’s a big thing when money is on the line. After all, these pro players and it’s really hard to come back from a goal. Of course, these clips started a major debate in the comments both on Reddit and X. Here is how the fans are reacting.
FC Pro Match Clip Angers The Fans Over Unfair Goal

The FC Pro tournament gets a lot of views. Every fan is rooting for their favorite player. Matches are neck-and-neck, and it’s an overall fun esport to watch. However, when something like this happens, it really affects the community. In a pro match, even one goal can be the deciding factor. So, when this clip was posted on Reddit, fans were quick to react.
EA really has no shame. I’d be embarrassed if this happened in a game I made in front of tens of thousands of people. Yet even the commentators barely react at all since they know this is normal in FC.
Another member had a similar opinion:
Commentators’ silence after the penalty is given says it all – they’re paid to not say anything negative, but that silence really does say everything it needs to
These types of bugs show the current state of EA FC 26. Despite the patches and updates, the game is still infested with bugs and glitches that ruin the experience. Fans are right to react aggressively. These pros train for hours, and to lose because of a random bug like this is definitely infuriating.
