Beginning today, selected players from the UK, USA and Canada are joining a new FC 26 technical playtest for a future, world-based football experience.
It’s the largest early test EA Sports has organized, giving players hands-on time with pre-release content that doesn’t reflect the final version. With social gameplay and player expression at the heart of EA Sports FC, this effort highlights a new approach to involving the community earlier in development.
The playtest runs alongside ongoing FC 26 updates with multiple studios continuing to refine gameplay and apply player feedback. This closed test focuses on early innovations, stability, and performance in a new mode still in development. None of the content will appear in FC 26 but players invited through EA Playtesting on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will get the opportunity to share feedback that could help shape the future of EA Sports FC.
EA Sports continues to lean on player feedback more than ever, collecting over 730,000 data points through its Feedback Portal, Discord and social channels since the launch of FC 26. That input has already influenced updates and new features and it remains a key part of how the team plans to move the series forward.
