Father asked 11th son to marry off 10 sisters before dying, now he is under ₹35 lakh debt after just three weddings. Watch

A young man’s emotional promise to his dying father has turned into a story that many are now discussing online. After agreeing to take responsibility for the marriages of his ten sisters, the man says he is already buried under nearly ₹35 lakh in loans after conducting three weddings, and still has seven more to go. The story, shared through a viral social media video, has sparked conversations around family duty, wedding expenses and the financial pressure many people silently carry in Indian households.

A promise made beside a hospital bed

In the viral clip, the man recalls how his father had long wished for a son after the birth of ten daughters. As per the clip, things changed dramatically when his father was battling cancer. During his final days, he asked his son to make one promise, that he would personally arrange and fund the weddings of all ten sisters without depending on relatives or sharing the burden with anyone else.
