It was a sad day back in 2019 when Zac Posen revealed he was shuttering his namesake label. After all, everyone from Rihanna to Jennifer Lopez and even Beyoncé have all worn the designer's designs proving the immense influence he has had on the fashion landscape throughout his career.

Now we finally know what's next for Zac with the news that he's been selected to fill the creative director role at Gap. The designer also lands the gig of chief creative officer of Old Navy, Gap's less expensive counterpart.

"Zac's technical expertise and cultural clarity have consistently evolved American fashion, making him a great fit for the company as we ignite a new culture of creativity across the portfolio and reinvigorate our storied brands," proclaims President and CEO of Gap Inc. Richard Dickson.

We can't wait to see how Zac leaves his stylish mark on both brands.
