The rumoured texts between Farmer Wants A Wife‘s (FWAW) Thomas and Claire have been leaked, and my goodness, it’s bloody scandalous! Truly a drama addict’s feast.
As we’ve repeated in multiple (and I mean multiple) articles, FWAW is known for its wholesomeness. However this year’s rodeo of love has been rife with drama after drama.
Most recently, the show has been rocked by a texting scandal between Thomas and Claire — one of Thomas’ OG ladies (and frontrunners) who unfortunately left earlier in the season.
To give you the quick TL;DR, shit hit the fan on Thomas’ farm after it was revealed to Clarette and Rachael — two of Thomas’ frontrunners who are still on the show — that Claire reached out to him after she chose to leave during the Harvest Festival.
After Clarette pressed the South Australian farmer on what happened, he eventually ditched the whole thing and “went missing” for a bit.
While the camera didn’t show what was said between Thomas and Claire, Clarette claimed in the confessional that phrases like “I miss you” were said in their secret texts.
But now, it appears the conversation has been leaked and honestly, if I was Clarette, I would be fuuuuuuming!
What did Farmer Thomas and Claire text about?
Now, before we jump into the tea, I want to preface that neither Thomas nor Claire have come forward with their own statements / screenshots of the conversations, so please, take it with a grain of salt!
According to Woman’s Day, the “most damning” messaged from the secret texts included phrases like “U will always have a spot in my heart”.
“Thanks for making me feel so special,” Claire allegedly wrote, per the publication.
“You’ve helped me in so many ways. Safe travels and enjoy the rest of the journey.”
“Thanks 4 [sic] coming to see me beautiful,” Farmer Thomas reportedly replied.
“U [sic] will always be my best memories on the farm wish I could of made many more and u [sic] will always have a spot in my heart.”
However, it was this alleged comment that caught my eye!!!!
“Maybe come back and save me from Clarette please,” Thomas ALLEGEDLY wrote to Claire.
YEOOOOUUUUCHHHHHH!
Again, it’s not confirmed by the folks involved that this was what exactly said. However, I can now see why Clarette acted the way she did.
Claire claims messages were completely ‘platonic’
Shortly aftter the heated episode aired (episode 12, May 27 for those who want the full shebang), Claire told Chattr that the texts between her and Thomas were strictly “platonic”.
“I actually just messaged him to check in on him and see how filming was going. I knew he was worried about filming during harvest, so I wished him all the best,” the former FWAW 2025 contestant told the publication before claiming Thomas never replied.
