Who are the farmers on Farmer Wants A Wife Australia 2026?

This year’s season of FWAW will feature five country cutie patooties who are all looking to lasso in some type of wifey.

Farmer Jarrad, 41

Farmer Jarrad is a 41-year-old almond farmer hailing from Taylorville, South Australia, who has been described as “the gentleman” of this season. In his trailer, Jarrad admits he’s been heartbroken in the past, which has affected his search for ~the one~. However, he’s ready to be brave in the hopes of finding love on FWAW.

“I want to get it right this time. I’m ready to find my person,” he said.

Jarrad told PEDESTRIAN.TV ahead of the show’s launch that he has “mixed feelings” about watching the experience back on TV.

“There’s a bit of excitement there, but at the same time, a little bit nervous — and I don’t like the sound of my voice,” he said.

“It’s going to be a bit strange to watch it, but I think it went quite well. I had a really good time, and the farmers they got on this year are a really good bunch of guys, so that made the whole experience quite enjoyable. I also had a really amazing group of ladies on the farm as well. So, all in all, it was good.”

Well, ain’t he gorgeous! (Credit: Channel 7)

Off the bat, Farmer Dylan had the girlies swooooning. He’s a 24-year-old, 6ft rodeo cowboy from South Australia’s Cherry Gardens.

Reflecting on his job, Dylan said he loves “getting on the horse” and the “thrill” of the gig. Alongside being an adrenaline junkie, he also describes himself as a “down-to-earth” bloke. Alongside being a rodeo cowboy, Dylan is also a sheep farmer who loves animals.

While the show’s trailer teases that things will get steamy between the farmers and their women, Dylan told P.TV he isn’t too worried about how he’ll come across to viewers.

“I think seeing me, I suppose, riz up the girls — I can’t think another word — but just putting my heart out there, I’m kind of nervous about,” he said.

“I think I am very respectful, and I pay a lot of homage to my family and whatnot for the bloke I am today, so I think I will come across as quite nice, and the bloke I really am.”

Hailing all the way from Kin Kin, Queensland, Farmer Alex is a “hopeless romantic” who is teased to clock a massive shock from one of his suitors.

“I don’t think I would be able to date someone, it just wouldn’t work,” Alex said in his teaser.

Alex admitted to P.TV that he wasn’t familiar at all with the show’s format before signing up, so he didn’t know exactly what he’d gotten himself into.

“I hadn’t watched the show once. I watched a little bit of it before I went on it, but it was making me way too nervous to see what I was going to be doing, so I was like, nope, we’re gonna raw dog it,” he revealed.

“I think one of the reasons I was so comfortable going onto this show was because I assumed it was nothing like MAFS, nothing like Love Island, and when everything unfolded the way it did, I was a bit surprised.”

From Coolabunia, Queensland, Farmer Jason is a dairy farmer who’s chucking his Akubra in the realm of reality TV for a chance at love.

“I’ve been unlucky in love, been with someone and finding out they want something different in life. You think, are you good enough or is there something wrong with me?” Jason said. “I’ve got a big heart. Gotta find the right one to give it to.”

Jason told P.TV ahead of the show’s launch that he went on the show determined to not only find himself a new partner, but also a “motherly figure” for his children.

“I wanted to choose someone who would fit in well with them, and someone to look up to, I guess,” he said.

Farmer Zac is a 24-year-old apple farmer from South Australia’s Forest Range. Alongside farming, this hunk of spunk loves footy and is looking for a partner who can “keep up” with his lifestyle.

“I’m not a shy boy, but sometimes pretty ladies can make me a little bit nervous,” he shared in his video.

Zac confessed to P.TV that the experience was much more emotional than he expected, describing it as a “roller coaster”.

“You put your heart out, and then the reactions are all genuine and the emotions are high and tears are bound to come from all directions,” he said.

Wrangling our farmers and their lovers this year is Natalie Gruzlewski, who returned to the show in 2025 after a two-year hiatus.

Samantha Armytage left hosting duties after she announced she would be leaving the Seven Network in August 2024.

“It’s a little sad, and it’s bittersweet, but the time has come. I leave with lots of goodwill in my heart and excitement about the future,” the presenter told The Daily Telegraph at the time. “I’m big on instinct. I listen to my instinct. I know when the time comes. I am proud of the fact that I back myself enough to say, ‘I’ve done what I can do here’ and I move on.”

Armytage is now hosting Channel Nine’s The Golden Bachelor, which saw Barry ‘Bear’ Myrden and Sunny Long find love at the end of season one.
