Farhad Moshiri's five word message to Everton fans after Norwich defeat

Farhad Moshiri sent a five-word message to Everton supporters after the 2-0 defeat to Norwich City.

The Blues slumped to a dismal loss at Goodison Park today as pressure increased on manager Marco Silva.

Fans made their feelings clear to the club's majority shareholder Moshiri as he was leaving the ground, asking questions about Silva's future and commenting on the performance.

And Moshiri told them: "We will have better days".

Norwich claimed all three points - and their first away win of the season - thanks to goals from Todd Cantwell and Dennis Srbeny.

The mood inside Goodison was markedly sour by the final whistle, with boos ringing out around the stadium.

Norwich fans took aim at Silva and chanted “you’re getting sacked in the morning  - with some Blues moved to join in.

One Everton supporter shouted his thoughts on the manager over to Bill Kenwright from the Main Stand, exclaiming "He's got to go, Bill".

Moshiri gave nothing away after the final whistle as he left his seat in the directors' box.

And focus will now turn to Moshiri, Marcel Brands and other key decision-makers at Everton on how best to proceed.

The Blues' next four fixtures in the league see them take on Leicester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United.
