Farage labelled ‘hypocrite’ over suspended Labour activist

  • Labour has suspended activist Arshad Khatana following allegations from Reform UK regarding his alleged extremist views and links to Chancellor Rachel Reeves.
  • Reform UK's Treasury spokesperson Robert Jenrick accused Mr Khatana of sharing videos glorifying terrorists, making anti-Islam statements, and promoting conspiracy theories, including about 9/11 and a 'lending mafia'.
  • Rachel Reeves has been photographed with Mr Khatana on numerous occasions and visited his home, but Labour states she was unaware of the 'abhorrent views' he is accused of sharing.
  • Nigel Farage was pictured meeting Mr Khatana at an interfaith event in 2013, prompting Labour to label him a 'hypocrite' for Reform UK's criticism of Reeves.
  • Labour defended its swift action against Mr Khatana, contrasting it with Reform UK's alleged failure to address similar issues within its own party.
