Jack Grealish has revealed his favourite Manchester City player is Kevin De Bruyne and claimed him to be "easily the best player in the league" as he nears a move to the Etihad Stadium.
Grealish is close to a £100million move to the champions with negotiations with Aston Villa expected to accelerate once his participation at Euro 2020 comes to an end.
It brought back an old clip of Grealish talking about the Manchester City squad prior to the 2020 Carabao Cup Final, which Man City won thanks to a 2-1 win at Wembley Stadium. In the clip he reveals that De Bruyne is his favourite player in the City squad but also that he is one of the best players in the world outside of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, with Grealish claiming he can "walk into any team in the world."
Fans have reacted to the clip, with many believing it plays a big part in Grealish's decision to leave his boyhood club to move up north and join De Bruyne under Pep Guardiola.
Grealish is currently with the England squad at Euro 2020 and is preparing for their knockout clash against old rivals Germany at Wembley next Tuesday.
