Fans react as Anthony Elanga scores a beauty for Manchester United against Brentford

Manchester United forward Anthony Elanga continues to impress during pre-season as the youngster scored once again, this time against Brentford.

Elanga scored in the Premier League last season against Wolves and has been able to keep his momentum going with goals in pre-season against Queens Park Rangers and now a wonderful opener against Brentford.

United dominated the ball for a short period before an Aaron Wan-Bissaka cross found Elanga in the box. With the promising Swedish forward falling backwards, he connected with a picture perfect right footed volley into the bottom corner to send Reds fans wild in front of the biggest crowd in over 16 months.

United fans on social media were delighted with the form he's been showing and with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitting that he has a decision to make about whether Elanga goes on loan this summer, he's not making it any easier.

United fans in the ground were ecstatic too as they sang away any cobwebs throughout the first half at Old Trafford.

Elanga has been linked with a loan move away but his performances during pre-season have seen the manager stand up and take notice. He has suggested that the 19-year-old could end up staying at the club and with the first-team for the first half of the season at least but a final decision is still yet to be made.
