Australia’s wildlife prince, Robert Irwin, has solidified himself as an international heartthrob with his latest shirt-ripping stunt on Dancing With The Stars US (DWTS). However, the glow-up has left some Aussies feeling a bit conflicted.
Kicking off October 2025, the crocodile wrangler sent heart rates racing with his latest DWTS performance. To give you a recap, Rob and DWTS partner Witney Carson served up a saucy salsa to the tune of Tommy Richman‘s “Million Dollar Baby”.
While we all know the salsa can be quite the spicy dance, it was when 21-year-old darling ripped his shirt that had the audience (and the internet) screaming.

Naturally, with such a hot move, fans took to social media with all their thirst comments, declaring Robert Irwin as their new celebrity crush.

However, for some viewers — a majority of them being Aussies — the saucy, saucy dance move has left them feeling quite conflicted about how they see the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! host.
“Robert, I remember you being born. What are you doing to meeeeee?” one person commented under PEDESTRIAN.TV’s TikTok.
“Well that’s made me look at him in a different light now,” another penned.

This isn’t the first time Robert has sent the internet into a tizzy over his new heartthrob, foxy moron era.
In April, Robert Irwin broke the internet by getting his big snake out (literally a snake) for an underwear photoshoot with Bonds.
In the photoshoot, Robert posed in some Bonds underwear alongside a variety of Aussie animals for the company’s “Made For Down Under” campaign.
In an interview with PEDESTRIAN.TV, our sweet Robbie opened up about his new status as a heartthrob, stating it was a “funny thing to navigate”.
“All I can say is if people are listening to my message, and I’ve got a platform where I can spread a bit of positivity, that’s all I care about,” he said.
“Whatever form that comes in.”
