Fans have been left confused following Jamie Lee Curtis‘ bizarre encounter with comedians Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers on the Las Culturistas Culture Awards red carpet.
During the iconic Las Culturistas Culture Awards in Los Angeles, Yang and Rogers were asked by Vulture about a pop culture quote that lived in their minds rent-free.
In response to the question, Rogers revealed it was Elle Woods’ iconic Legally Blonde line, “What, like it’s hard?” that was stuck in his mind.
For Yang, the comedian fully channelled the spirit of Julia Roberts in Erin Brockovich to deliver his favourite line: “I’m not talking to you, bitch!”
While delivering the line, Jamie Lee Curtis can be heard yelling, “hey”, before stepping in frame to hush the dynamic duo.
“We’re quoting Julia Roberts,” Rogers responded to Curtis’ “hey”.
“Listen. Bring the whole fucking thing down,” Curtis told the pair.
After that brief reaction from the Halloween icon, Yang told the Freaky Friday star she’s “gonna hate this show”.
“We’ll sit you in the back,” Rogers chimed in.
While it’s unclear if the trio were doing a bit for the red carpet, fans have had a lot to say about the heated interaction.

Shortly after Vulture shared the video, viewers flocked to the comments expressing their confusion with Curtis’ reaction to Yang’s line delivery — which was impeccable!
“Jamie Lee Curtis, what was that?” one fan questioned.
“Jamie Lee better have been doing a bit,” another penned.
“This made me CRINGGGGGGGEEEEEE holy shit. Wow,” one viewer wrote on X.
“This is the same as getting shushed, fucking triggering,” wrote a third.
At the time of writing, neither Curtis, Yang, nor Rogers have confirmed if the interaction was legit or a skit they prepped for the Las Culturistas Culture Awards.
In February, Curtis was embroiled in controversy after she compared the devastating LA wildfires to “Gaza or one of these war-torn countries” during a Q&A for The Last Showgirl.
