Justin Bieber certainly has a strange way of celebrating his wife Hailey after she landed a Vogue cover.
On Wednesday (local time), Vogue US dropped the cover of their latest issue featuring a glowing Hailey Bieber pictured in a striped shirt and smiling as a trickle of water pours over her. To celebrate his wife’s achievement, Justin took to Instagram to share the cover along with another stunning pic from the spread.
It was a sweet gesture, until fans read the accompanying caption, which read like an uncomfortable backhanded compliment.
“Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight,” the “Peaches” singer wrote.
“I told Hails that she would never be on the cover of Vogue. Yikes I know, so mean. For some reason, because I felt so disrespected. I thought I gotta get even.”

“I think as we mature, we realise that we’re not helping anything by getting even,” Justin continued.
“We’re honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection.
“So baby, you already know, but forgive me for saying you wouldn’t get a Vogue cover cos’ clearly I was sadly mistaken.”

Naturally, many fans didn’t take too kindly to this weird-ass caption, and he changed it shortly after to a bunch of emojis (🤷🫵🏻🫶🏼🥹).
“Not him changing the caption,” commented one user.
“Another one who embarrassed his woman,” said another.
However, others supported Justin’s honesty.
“People think relationships are perfect and that there are no arguments, but he was honest and everything is fine. Be happy and let JB be happy. Who has never had a fight with their partner?” wrote another.

Along with the stunning cover shoot and feature interview — in which she spoke about motherhood, ignoring the haters and finding her bliss — Hailey also participated in a ‘What’s In Your Bag’ video for Vogue‘s YouTube channel.
In it, she poked fun at the online rumours that she’s been stalking and trolling Justin’s ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez for yonks by reaching into her bag to reveal not one, but six iPhones.
“This is my phone. Very straightforward obviously,” she said, before reaching into the designer bag to collect a heap more.
“These are a couple more that I keep on me, and I really just use them for a lot of the simple stuff, like surfing anonymously, commenting, stalking, viewing girls’ pages, making multiple accounts. You know, that kind of thing.”

But the funny ha-has didn’t stop there! Shortly after the phone gag, the 28-year-old pulled out a “little tincture potion”.
“When I was around 12, I would say, my dad flew me to go meet with this witch who lived in the mountains. She made this specifically for me. She told me that it would make a young Canadian popstar fall in love with me,” she quipped.
“So yeah, been taking this one for years. Absolutely love it and yeah. Thanks Dad!”

I AM DEAD.
Straight up, this video is absolutely worth watching, and you can check it out below.
