Manchester United are wearing their third kit for the first time this season, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have taken the trip to the south coast to face Southampton.
United are looking to record two wins out of two, following their strong performance last weekend as they ran out convincing 5-1 winners at home to Leeds United, where Bruno Fernandes scored his first United hat-trick.
Solskjaer decided to stick with the 4-2-3-1 system ahead of this fixture, with Nemanja Matic and Anthony Martial coming in for Scott McTominay and Daniel James, respectively.
The Red Devils, who played in their trusty home strip last weekend emblazoned by new sponsor 'Team Viewer', are playing in a unique blue and yellow number, the likes of which are not often used by the 20-time Premier League champions.
United found themselves 1-0 down at half-time due to a deflected Che Adams strike, and fans of the Red Devils took to Twitter to suggest the yellow shorts were causing United's poor performance.
Below, MEN Sport looks at what United fans had to say following their poor start at St Mary's.
@chelUTD: "I'm sorry, but those yellow shorts look vile."
@clurr1984: "So far, I'm blaming these godawful yellow shorts."
@theloveDRE: "HT analysis: I blame the yellow shorts."
@TimmytheRed98: "I blame those horrid yellow shorts for this."
As you can see, the decision to go with yellow shorts for United's first away fixture of the season has not gone down well with large swathes of the United faithful.
Mason Greenwood will have eased the concerns of the United support as he equalised with a scuffed effort ten minutes after the half-time interval.
