Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell – review

Fangirl written by Rainbow Rowell is one of my all-time favourite books which I can read over and over again without getting bored.

It focusses on Cath, a shy and socially awkward girl who is starting college; the only thing she feels comfortable doing is writing fan fiction on the Simon Snow series. Cath has a twin sister Wren who is the total opposite – she loves going to parties and making new friends. The book follows Cath during her first year of college and how she struggles but gets through by writing fan fiction and spending time with Levi, her roommate’s friend.

The reason I love this book is how likeable and relatable the characters all are and the little fan fiction chapters throughout which are kind of based on the Harry Potter series. I would totally recommend reading this book as it is a fun, easy read which all teens and adults will love.
