Fan says he will tattoo Russell Westbrook’s MVP averages on face

With the Houston Rockets blockbuster acquisition of Russell Westbrook on Thursday night, a fan will have to go through with a proclamation he made just before the trade officially went down.

A fan tweeted out that he will get Westbrook’s 2017 MVP season averages of 31.6 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 10.4 assists on his face. It was the first of three straight seasons that Westbrook has averaged a triple-double becoming the first player in NBA history to do so. He was the first player to average a triple-double since the great Oscar Robertson back in the 1961-62 season.

The fan appears to be serious with it as well. As he explains in this twitter thread.

Please be advised that the tweets below contains language that some might consider offensive.

The Rockets will now hope that Westbrook can bring his talents to Houston and help James Harden lead this team to an NBA championship they so desperately crave.
