A Glasgow family have came up with a brilliant solution to the pain felt by much of us in Paesano being shut - by recreating it at home in their own living room.
The Philiben family have taken home dining to the next level by reproducing the hugely popular and much-missed pizza place amid the ongoing coronavirus lockdown.
Nurse Lisa Philliben, husband Thomas and daughter Lilly have been brightening up their Friday nights by cooking and serving up their favourite dishes from their favourite spots.
Their most recent attempt saw them have a go at recreating "one of our favourite places to eat" in Paesano, and it looks like they absolutely nailed it!
Featuring a painstaking attention to deal, it features everything from the handwritten specials menu on the wall, projection of the inside - featuring their lit-up sign, big glass water jugs, utensil cans and even the actual proper Paesano menus on the table!
As well as the Moretti and San Pellegrino orders, salad sides and, last but not least, the pizza itself.
Dad Thomas admitted it wasn't easy to recreate their mouthwatering Neapolitan pizza, telling Glasgow Live that "a BBQ and a blow torch may have been involved".
And their neighbours were suitably impressed with the set up, responding to photos the family shared on Facebook with quips such as "Think you need to start selling takeaways for your neighbours" and "I’m coming over".
And the Phillibens can add Paesano to a host of favourite spots they have recreated over the past few weeks to keep the lockdown boredom at bay - including Miller & Carter, Nando's and Cafe Strange Brew.
And next up they are going to have a go at recreating Cafe Andaluz, alongside 9-year-old Lilly's favourite, Loop & Scoop in the west end.
They might need to start a business once things are back to normal!
