The family of a vulnerable man missing for a week from west London have said they are going “out of their mind” with worry over his disappearance.
CCTV shows the last sighting of Norman Cox, 54, at around 6pm on Friday, March 11 in the Acton High Street area.
He is described as a black male of medium build and due to an existing medical condition which effects his mental health, is extremely vulnerable.
At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a dark jacket and bright green trousers.
Ashford Longdon, Norman’s cousin, in an emotional appeal for the public’s help in locating him, saying: “I am so worried about my cousin. He is very vulnerable and I am going out my mind with worry about his disappearance. I just want him to come home and know he is safe.”
Addressing Norman directly, he added: “Just give me a call. Let me know where you are. I’m gutted... I don’t know where to find him.”
DI Barry Williams from the West Area Command Unit said: “Norman has now been missing for a week, which as you can imagine has been an unbearably worrying time for his loved ones.
“The longer he is missing, the more our concern grows for him.
“I am appealing to anyone that can help find Norman to come forward and make contact with the police.
“If you know of Norman’s whereabouts or can provide any information that might help us bring Norman home, please give us a call.”
