Falcons sign OL John Leglue to practice squad

John Leglue Falcons Andre Smith

The Atlanta Falcons had a practice squad vacancy after signing linebacker Andre Smith to the 53-man roster on Tuesday. According to team reporter Tori McElhaney, offensive lineman John Leglue has taken Smith’s place on the 16-man practice squad.

Leglue, 27, is a former undrafted free agent out of Tulane. He spent time with a handful of teams, including the Packers, Saints, Broncos and Titans, but has only appeared in six games for the Steelers.

Leglue made five starts for Pittsburgh in 2021. Check out Atlanta’s updated 16-man practice squad, 53-man roster and depth chart heading into Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.
