A fake taxi driver was stopped by gardai this afternoon after attempting to pick up a young couple at Dublin Airport.
The bogus driver allegedly tried to charge the couple a fee after picking them up but was foiled by alert cops.
The car was also found to have no insurance or NCT.

Gardai shared a picture on social media of the vehicle after it was stopped in a joint operation with the NTA.
They tweeted: "Joint NTA and DMR Roads Policing Operation detect this bogus hackney collecting a young couple from Dublin Airport today for a fee.
"Car seized for no insurance or NCT. Court to follow."
