Fake tan fixer: 'magic' blending stick promises to airbrush away tanning mishaps

No matter how expertly you think you've applied your fake tan, chances are that even if you're a master at it, you'll probably find you miss a patch or two occasionally -especially around the tricky areas like ankles and elbows.

Your options are to wait a few days until you can try to buff it off with a cloth or an eraser, or to just hide under long sleeves.

Until now.

Fake tanning brand Isle of Paradise thinks it may have found a solution to our dodgy application woes - with the new Blend It Balm, £14.95 .

This 'magic' stick is designed to be applied to patches you've missed when tanning on the face and body.

Once you've applied it to the areas you want, the balm sinks in and develops to give you a much more even finish - without you having to try to scrub it all off and start again.

The balm is made with coconut oil, chia seed and avocado oil, so it glides easily onto the skin without any mess.

The formula is also made to act like a gradual tan, where you build up to the shade you want by topping up with a bit more if you need it.

Isle of Paradise says you should see less noticeable patches 4-6 hours after using this - which might just save the day if you've got to dash off to a party after work.

The launch comes after the success of the brand's other products, which launched last year and featured a revolutionary line of colour correcting tans.
