The 2026 Season Pack for F1 25 is something we haven’t seen from the franchise in the past. So far, EA Sports has followed an annual ritual of launching a new title. But this year, things are looking different. We have a refresher in the form of the Season Pack that fits nicely with an existing F1 25 copy.
Before you commit to buying it, you’re probably wondering just how much value it offers. We’ll break down all the key features of the pack and whether it’s worth purchasing.

All key features of the F1 25: 2026 Season Pack
To properly evaluate the pack’s worth, we have to go through all major features. Here’s everything you can expect with the F1 25: 2026 Season Pack.
- Complete data overhaul : The default database will switch to the 2026 Formula 1 series, which means updated driver ratings, new teams, and more. When you start the Career Mode, you’ll find Sauber and Cadillac lining up in the official roster. The same change also reflects in the driver lineups.
- New drivers and ratings : The overall ratings of all the drivers have changed to reflect the new season. This also includes new rookies in the form of Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad. Similarly, the existing teams have also undergone changes in real life, and you’ll find the same inside the game.
- New track : The MADRING has been added to the official roster of tracks for the 2026 season. This track offers 22 corners and a lap that’s 5.4 km long. I already tested out the track, and it was one of the most exciting races.
Additionally, the regulations and rules have been updated in accordance with the 2026 Formula 1 season. In simple words, the smaller and lighter chassis of the cars will result in quicker lap speeds and sharper corner steering. The dual driving modes, where you utilize your battery to gain greater pace on the straights, are one of the most enjoyable parts of the update.
Is the F1 25: 2026 Season Pack worth getting
In one word, yes, the F1 25: 2026 Season Pack is worth buying. If you’re someone new, you get the entire bundle for just $50 on Steam. This is the price of F1 25 last year at launch. Now, you get the base game and the Season Pack for that amount.
If you already own the base game, the 2026 Season Pack is available at a discounted price of $24.99 on Steam. I’ve always felt that the upgrades between two consecutive launches (released yearly) were never enough to warrant the $50 price point. Much of those upgrades were related to rosters and rules that you get with the Season Pack.
The new model adopted by EA allows you to enjoy those changes while spending half the price. The reduced price certainly makes the Season Pack more lucrative compared to an entire F1 26 game. I believe this also allows the developers to make noticeable changes in the longer development window (between F1 25 and F1 27). This should also work well when F1 27 comes out later next year on PC and consoles.
There’s one major downside of the Season Pack, though. All our custom team and career saves from the 2025 season won’t be compatible with the update. I understand the reason, but it also means we’ll have to start fresh with the Season Pack. This isn’t a total deal breaker, though, since a new season is good enough for a fresh career.
The 2026 Season Pack definitely hits many checkboxes with what it offers at its price. If you’re a hardcore fan of F1 racing, the Season Pack should be high on your wishlist.
