The Boston Celtics are reportedly not done making moves according to Celtics President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens. But before we get too excited about the possibility of blockbuster trades going down, the moves Stevens likely has in mind are middling ones at best — and could very well involve no trades at all with a handful of minimum contract signings.
Even so, the possibility remains out there that Boston’s front office could elect to make some major moves to reshape the roster if the right deal comes along for them to say yes to. But what would such a trade proposal look like that might actually make the ball club better?
The hosts of the “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast recently sat down to talk over a handful of hypothetical deals involving names that could realistically be on the move.
