  • Petit expressed his disappointment, noting that the faulty timepiece caused his wife distress, reducing her to tears upon discovering the error.
  • The company responsible for manufacturing the watch issued an apology after being contacted about the mistake, acknowledging the error in the product.
  • As a gesture of goodwill and to rectify the situation, the company offered a replacement watch and an additional £630 coupon to the customer.
  • Separately, a watchdog group has raised concerns about the monetisation of the presidency, claiming that The Trump Store, overseen by Donald Trump's sons, has sold over 600 new items since his return to the White House.
