Last month, Bombay Times exclusively reported about Dalljiet Kaur tying the knot with UK-based Nikhil Patel in March. While the date wasn’t revealed then, we have learnt that she is getting married on March 18. A pre-wedding ceremony will take place on March 17. Her friends from the industry and outside are believed to be planning performances for her big day, and they will start rehearsing for it this week.
Informs a source, “Yes, the wedding is on March 18. All her friends are very happy for Dalljiet and quite excited about the big day. She deserves a second chance at love and marriage. We are glad she has found Nikhil. The two are made for each other.”
The actress, who participated in the 13th season of Bigg Boss, shared with us her love story. She met Nikhil, who works with a finance company, at a friend’s party in Dubai last year. The two started chatting, but the conversation revolved mostly around their children – Dalljiet’s nine-year-old son, Jaydon, and Nikhil’s daughters Aariyana (13) and Aanika (8). While romance wasn’t in the air back then, the two proud parents fell in love eventually.
Post-marriage, Dalljiet will move to Nairobi (Africa) where Nikhil is working currently. They will eventually relocate to London, where the latter was born and raised. Dalljiet was previously married to actor Shalin Bhanot, who was seen on the recently-concluded 16th season of Bigg Boss.
She has been part of several fiction shows like Kulvaddhu, Santaan, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, Kaala Teeka, Qayamat Ki Raat, Guddan: Tumse Na Ho Payega, and Sasural Genda Phool 2.
