'Excellent' opportunity of a house hidden behind trees for sale

A ‘beautiful’ period property has come on the market in Liverpool that’s hidden behind mature trees and bushes.

The six bedroom semi-detached is just a seconds away from Sefton Park, on Lancaster Avenue, Aigburth.

Spread across four floors, the home also comes with a detached garage that has enough parking for up to three cars.

While it may be hard to tell from the outside, thanks to it being secluded by trees, the property has steps up to the doorway and is fronted with large bay windows.

It is listed for £599,950 but estate agents Atlas say this property is an 'excellent opportunity' for someone who wishes to add value.

There is potential for change of use of the property subject to planning permission.

The back garden is similar to the front with plenty of mature trees and plants.

There's a raised decked area close to the house which has enough room for some outdoor furniture.

The garden is a mixture of lawn and patio and also has a central pond.

The Atlas listing reads: "A beautiful Victorian semi detached house benefiting from an abundance of original character features.

"Situated in Aigburth, a popular and affluent south Liverpool suburb and home to many well-known landmarks including Sefton Park, Sudley House, Otterspool Promenade, Aigburth Cricket Club and Lark Lane.

"Sefton Park is listed by English Heritage and covers a remarkable 235 acres.
