Sherwood's Bergwijn claim
Former Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood has claimed that David Ginola wouldn't even get a game over Steven Bergwijn at the moment.
Speaking on Sky Sports News, Sherwood has heaped praise on Bergwijn for his work-rate mainly, and the fact he's looked very sharp for Spurs recently.
"They [former legends] wouldn’t play in this Tottenham side. They would not play, as good as they are," the ex-Tottenham manager explained.
"Legends of the club. Ginola wouldn’t do the running back what Bergwijn’s doing. He wouldn’t do that, although he was a brilliant player.”
Every word from Mourinho
Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho spoke to the press after the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace yesterday at Selhurst Park.
Mourinho was asked about Gareth Bale - who wasn't in the squad - if he blames Hugo Lloris for the Eagles' equaliser, as well as what he said at half-time when Spurs were leading the game against their London rivals.
On Bale, the Portuguese manager said: "He was ill, not Covid, not even flu that keeps you in bed for a week. I believe for Wednesday he will be fine."
Spurs go to Liverpool on Wednesday evening, in a top of the table clash, following the Reds' 1-1 draw with Fulham on Sunday evening.

Evra and Souness agree on Lloris
Sky Sports pundits Greame Souness and Patrice Evra agreed on the same point concerning Tottenham goalkeeper Lloris after the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
Eberechi Eze's free-kick was not dealt with properly by the Spurs shot-stopper and the rebound fell to Jeffrey Schlupp, who levelled the encounter.
Souness said: “The goalkeeper, if the ball is coming in, if he isn’t gonna move, he must be assuming it’s gonna come straight on his chest. I’m not being super critical of Lloris, but could he have caught that?"
Evra then added: “I think Lloris is a great goalkeeper, but he is always staying on his line. Sometimes I want him to go up and claim the ball, punch it away, even after the incident, and that’s my little worry."
