Ex-soldier turned Dublin firefighter celebrates retirement with a-glazing cake

Dublin Fire Brigade honoured a former soldier turned firefighter on his retirement with a brilliant miniature cake in his likeness.

Ken Clarke is set to move on to batter things after 20 years of service in the DFB. The firefighter and paramedic previously served with the Defence Forces and Irish Air Corps.

Ken was honoured by fellow colleagues at his retirement party in an a-glazing celebration involving an a-dough-rable cake of a mini-him waving from an electric car. A spokesperson for the DFB said: "This week we said goodbye to FF/P Ken Clarke after a 20-year career across a number of our stations
