Former Rangers player Nacho Novo has reportedly been attacked at a Glasgow nightclub.
The 40-year-old was understood to be out partying at the west end's SWG3 when he was targeted by a thug last night.
He was believed to be attending the STREETrave 30's summer party when the incident took place just before 10pm, as reported in the Daily Record.
Officers from Police Scotland were called to the venue with one clubber saying the ex-frontman was being treated by first aid.
A spokesperson for SWG3 said: "We can confirm an incident took place and that Police Scotland were on site. The issue was dealt with promptly and no further action will be taken.
"As a venue, anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and the safety of our patrons always comes first."
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
Earlier in 2018, the player suffered a heart attack after collapsing at a legends’ tournament in Germany.
