Ex-Rangers manager Philippe Clement reportedly has concrete interest from Chinese Super League side Shandong Taishan.
They have recently parted ways with their South Korean coach, Choi Kang-hee. A European boss is now on Shandong's agenda, and Clement could be their man.
Indeed, according to Belgian outlet Nieuwsblad, the Chinese side have made initial contact with the 51-year-old. They want Clement to start in January, and are willing to offer him a contract worth over €1 million.
It remains to be seen whether the former Ibrox boss will take the job.
He is currently awaiting hip surgery, and said on the BBC's Sacked In The Morning podcast last week that he won't return to management until he is fit again.

Clement also opened up about his time at Rangers on the podcast, and revealed that there was dressing room unrest over Michael Beale's signings when he initially came in the door: "In the beginning, you speak first with the more senior guys who have experience," he said.
"They were not in a good place. They were not happy with the signings that were made in the summer. And because of that, they felt it was not the standard that Rangers had before and that because of that, they hadn't been successful.
"After a few talks, we could change that mindset. Because I told them also, 'It's easy to point to the others, but what did you guys do to make the others feel comfortable here, feel good here, to become good players? And maybe they are not ready yet, but it's your job also to help that'.
"They totally took that message. And I think it was a very important part to have a good season with a lot of victories in a row, because it united the team in that moment, and the senior guys really took big responsibility in that to help the new guys, and they felt much more comfortable on and off the pitch."
