Ange Postecoglou is the red hot favourite to become the next manager of Nottingham Forest.
It comes as Nuno Espirito Santo was sacked by the Premier League club overnight.
The writing had been on the wall for the Portuguese coach after he publicly fell out with the club's owner Evangelos Marinakis.
When speaking to the press, Nuno aired concerns about his relationship with the owner, and suggested that their connection had broken down.
Following a 3-0 defeat to West Ham before the international break, this has resulted in Nuno losing his job.
A short club statement from Forest reads: "Nottingham Forest Football club confirms that, following recent circumstances, Nuno Espírito Santo has today been relieved of his duties as head coach.
"The club thanks Nuno for his contribution during a very successful era at The City Ground, in particular his role in the 2024/25 season, which will forever be remembered fondly in the history of the club.
"As someone who played a pivotal role in our success last season, he will always hold a special place in our journey."
Now, Ange is the favourite to replace Nuno at the City Ground.
He is also joined on OLBG's betting list by current Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers.
Rodgers' contract expires at the end of this season. While his future remains unclear, especially at a time of unrest among the support and the board, he is expected to see the campaign out in Glasgow.
Postecoglou has been out of work for around three months after he was sacked just two weeks after he guided Tottenham to Europa League glory in May.

He was relieved of his duties by Spurs, who have since moved on to Thomas Frank.
Ange has recently been linked with the vacant Bayer Leverkusen job in Germany.
But it seems he could be back in the Premier League soon, if his early bookies' favourite status holds any weight.
