Everything we know about Leeds United's 2023-24 kit as fresh leaked shirt picture emerges

Leeds United unveiled their new principal sponsor on Thursday morning as they prepare for the start of the new Championship campaign. Nationwide technology company BOXT, which is based in Leeds, will feature front and centre on Leeds’ shirts this season, replacing gambling organisation SBOTOP.

Leeds have partnered up with BOXT before and the company’s logo seems to give us more of an idea about what the Whites’ 2023-24 kit will look like. Leeds are still to unveil their kits for the upcoming campaign, but it’s something they will look to do sooner rather than later as the season draws closer.

With that in mind, here’s what we know about the new Leeds kit.

Who will manufacture the kit?

Adidas are Leeds’ official kit producers and that will remain the case this season, meaning United’s new shirt can expect to feature the famous three stripes. The German sports brand has been linked to Leeds since the 2020-21 season with the two agreeing a five-year deal at the time.

That means Adidas will not only make this season’s strip, but next season’s too before the possibility of renewing with the brand needs to be considered.

What will the home kit look like?

Well, it’s safe to say the home kit will be white… In all seriousness, it’s hard to know for certain what it will look like but there has been one design doing the rounds on social media for some time now.

That shirt features blue and yellow stripes across the shoulders, with a subtle peacock feather pattern seen in the fabric. It’s a V-neck and it also features an old-school Leeds peacock on the back of the neck, sitting just above the player name.

The addition of the BOXT logo across the middle makes it easier to imagine. The away kits are a little harder to picture at present with colour combinations and design unknown.

When will the kit be released?

Again, that’s hard to say. But, in recent years Leeds have revealed their kit in July. Last season’s wasn’t unveiled until July 13, when the club were already in Australia on their pre-season tour.

The season before saw the club release their kit on July 21. As such, it’s a fair assumption to say Leeds fans might have to wait another week or two yet to get full confirmation on the new kit.

How much will it cost?

Last season’s kits were initially priced at £65 for a jersey, with youth tops setting fans back £50. It’s hard to know whether those prices will increase this season, but judging by the Adidas kits that have already been released this summer, it’s safe to say they might.

Arsenal and Manchester United’s new replica shirts are both available to buy at an eye-watering £80 in official club shops, while the authentic shirt is £110.
