Every player Bristol City have sold for over £1m and what they would be worth now

Bristol City's ability to turn a profit on their players should stand them in good stead for what is set to be a tough few months for football clubs due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The Robins have twice broken their transfer record in the last 12 months through the sales of Lloyd Kelly and Adam Webster.

Yet would any of their previous sales be worth more than that when adjusted for inflation?

With transfer fees having risen so rapidly in the last 10 years or so, a sale such as Andy Cole's move to Newcastle United in £2.43m looks a bit on the cheap side these days.

However, the deal would now rank as a much bigger fee when adjusted for inflation.

Using figures from TransferMarkt and the Bank of England, here is every player Bristol City have sold for over £1m, and what they would be worth in 2020 money.
