Everton release statement on 'unacceptable' Moise Kean actions

Everton have released a statement condemning the actions of Moise Kean after the Italian striker posted a video of a lockdown party he hosted on social media.

The statement said the club were "appalled" with the 20-year-old's "unacceptable actions".

The Mirror report that Kean, who arrived from Juventus last summer for around £25m, filmed himself partying at his Cheshire apartment.

The report says Kean sent video clips to a private Snapchat group, with the footage showing female guests giving lap dances and other suggestive actions.

The caption on one picture was labelled ‘quarantine clean’.

The club statement said: “Everton are appalled to learn of an incident in which a first-team player ignored Government guidance and club policy in relation to the coronavirus crisis.

“The club has strongly expressed its disappointment to the player and made it clear that such actions are completely unacceptable.

“The amazing people in the NHS deserve the utmost respect for their hard work and sacrifice.

“The best way to show them respect is by doing everything we can to protect them.”
