Everton predicted line-up for Manchester United after Rafa Benitez team news update

Everton and Rafa Benitez have managed to put points on the board despite being without several key players this season.

On Saturday, they head to Old Trafford to face Manchester United and are still without key players Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison and Seamus Coleman.

Benitez, speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, confirmed the trio, along with Andre Gomes, will not be available for the lunchtime kick-off.

However, the Blues boss also revealed Alex Iwobi could also miss out.

"I will say that he has a little problem," Benitez revealed. "I don't know if he will be available for tomorrow.”

If the Nigeria international is not ready, it means the Everton manager will have to change the starting XI which beat Norwich at home last weekend.

Of course, the Toffees will likely take a more cautious approach at Old Trafford and, with little options right now, it will be interesting to see who comes in.

Tom Davies is perhaps the most likely candidate to come in, packing the midfield alongside Abdoulaye Doucoure and Allan.

The 23-year-old came on as Everton looked to see out the game against the Canaries and, though he has only racked up 16 minutes of Premier League action, could be given the nod as the Blues look to stop the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo on Saturday.

Anthony Gordon also came on against Norwich and could play out wide to allow Demarai Gray to play as a second striker but it is likely Benitez will go with Davies who is more defensively-minded.

Jean-Philippe Gbamin is back training with the team but has only featured once so far this season, against Huddersfield in the Carabao Cup.

Mason Holgate has not featured in the Premier League since keeping a clean sheet at Brighton at the end of August and was an unused substitute last Saturday.

Jonjoe Kenny, too, had to settle for the bench, with centre-back Ben Godfrey preferred at right-back.

It would be a surprise to see either feature at kick-off but it would be necessary for one to start if Benitez opts to play a back three though it has been suggested Andros Townsend could be utilised as a right-wing back if required.

Predicted Everton XI to face Manchester United: Pickford; Godfrey, Mina, Keane, Digne; Townsend, Allan, Doucoure, Davies, Gray; Rondon
