Everton discover crucial decision date for new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium

Liverpool City Council have confirmed that they have taken the next important step in Everton's proposed Bramley-Moore Dock development.

The local authority notified the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government - Robert Jenrick - on Wednesday regarding the decision made in their planning committee regarding the new ground.

On Tuesday, planning application for the Blues' waterfront stadium was passed by a unanimous decision from the 11 councillors involved in the panel.

It was made clear that the next would involve the Secretary of State looking over the proposals and making a decision over whether to call them in for a higher level of Government scrutiny.

And it was further confirmed on Wednesday that they have until Wednesday March 17th to consider the decision.

If given approval, Everton plan to begin construction work on the site in either the spring or summer of 2021.
