Everton and Liverpool matches in doubt after Leicester vs Tottenham postponed

Everton and Liverpool are facing an anxious wait to see if their Premier League fixtures go ahead this weekend after Tottenham's clash with Leicester was postponed.

The Toffees host Leicester on Sunday while Liverpool travel to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium to face Spurs.

Both Spurs and Leicester confirmed last week that they had multiple cases among their players and staff, with Tottenham closing their training ground for five days after an outbreak.

Antonio Conte's men subsequently saw matches against Rennes and Brighton postponed.

Everton's clash with Chelsea this evening could also be in doubt after reports indicated there had been COVID cases in the London outfit's squad.

Meanwhile the Reds host Newcastle at Anfield later on.

Watford's match with Burnley was postponed this week after Brentford's meeting with Manchester United was also called off.
