Everton analysis - Sean Dyche shows Frank Lampard truth as red card theory emerges

Right-back of the net

Back in 2014 when Roberto Martinez still had hair and was steering Everton to their highest-ever Premier League points total while Amadou Onana was not yet a teenager, Seamus Coleman was on his way to plundering a career high seven goals but while time and tide wait for no man and the 34-year-old is no longer as prolific in the opposition half, the player who now captains the Blues showed he is still the man for the big occasion. In truth, when Coleman found himself in an advanced position before his goal he was Everton’s furthest player forward and had no options to pick out in the box so after having a look up, he was well within his rights to have a shot.
