Eurovision semi finals: Sweden, Poland live up to predictions but Ireland crash out

So the line-up for this year's Eurovision final is now complete after 10 countries made it through Thursday's second semi final in Turin, but Ireland wasn't one of them.

Eurovision semi final 2 was always billed as the stronger of the two and, after Tuesday's first heat, well fancied acts like Poland's Ochman and Sweden's Cornelia Jakobs were in action and vying for a place in Saturday's finale. We also had Serbia's entry Konstrakta singing about Meghan Markle and Ireland's Brooke Scullion, a former contestant on The Voice UK.

The UK's Sam Ryder was an automatic qualifier for the final, with the country being one of 'the big five,' with other acts already through including Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra and Norway's Subwoolfer, the act surrounded by mystery as to who they are under their costumes.
