Frequently asked questions
Who can enter?
Anyone can nominate a team / public servant or you can nominate yourself. Please see the entry guidelines to check for eligibility details.
Can I enter more than one category?
Yes, you can enter more than one category as long as you meet the category criteria. Please ensure that you enter each entry on a separate application form.
Are the awards free to enter?
Yes.
Can I send a case study instead of completing the application form?
No, each entry must be submitted on the official entry form.
Can I send in additional promotional material?
Please do not submit additional material, our judges simply won't have time to read it. If you have been shortlisted, additional materials and details of your accounts may be requested.
How will I know if I'm shortlisted?
You will be notified in April if you have been shortlisted. Unfortunately due to the amount of entries we are unable to contact everyone who has entered. If you haven't hear from us you haven't been successful this year.
If my application is unsuccessful, can I request feedback from the GC Awards events team?
No. The panel of judges is appointed by Kable and all its decisions are independent of the awards administration. The judges' decision will be final and Kable will not enter into any discussion or correspondence concerning the results.
Can I enter if the project was set up before December 1 2008?
Yes, as long as the project can demonstrate that the effective change and improvement took place between December 1 2008 and December 1 2009.
